Michael Strilesky
Senior PrincipalMike is a senior principal with over 20 years of health care strategy and consulting experience. He leads the care delivery transformation consulting practice at Sg2, which designs and implements sustainable care models and ambulatory strategies to drive enhanced enterprise performance.
Mike has worked across all aspects of the provider continuum, and developed strategies and led engagements for community hospitals, integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers and independent provider organizations. He contributes to thought leadership in the areas of care redesign, medical group strategy, hospital-physician alignment, ambulatory expansion and health care disruption.
Mike’s approach to consulting has focused on innovative projects that have redefined where and how services are delivered in a market. He has developed some of the first clinically integrated networks in the country and led the integration of multiple medical groups and provider organizations to align care delivery in a region. A consistent focus on physicians and their role within the delivery system informs how transformational strategies are developed and how competitive advantages can be secured in a market. A common area of focus has been driving change that is designed to improve the financial results and clinical delivery capabilities of each organization.
Prior to joining Sg2, Mike was a principal for a national firm in their strategy practice, and he held multiple positions for a boutique consulting practice after starting his health care career working at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston.
Mike received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Boston University.
